This class consist of a lot of Hatha Yoga Excercises combined with Kundalini Yoga, which is a dynamic form of yoga that really awakens your entire system. We are going to do yoga, specific meditations, use powerful mantras and of course deep relaxation. Kundalini Yoga is a form of yoga that works quickly, you feel immediately different, and it works very strongly on the Mind / Body connection. People who practice KY often say that they feel strong inside, are focussed, feel energetic, but at the same time also relaxed and more neutral. :)
We also pay close attention to breathing, and bringing your consciousness back to yourself, your baby, and your presence in the "now".
Mindfulness is often mentioned and practiced and literally means "Living with Full Focus in the Now" and that is exactly what we want to achieve when we do Yoga and Meditation, Conscious Breathing and Relaxation. It is a STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS - A STATE OF HIS - A STATE OF EXPERIENCE.
This is what my classes also have in mind: because with Yoga, Breathing Techniques, specific Meditations and certainly with the deep relaxation after the class you can experience this deep feeling of BEING in the NOW and thus also your deep bond with your baby. For me it is a wish that you also take your yoga practice home and try to practice the techniques at home. Because then it actually starts to find a nice place and your practice can find a place within you and teach you to apply it in daily life, but also especially during the delivery. All the breathing exercises and Meditations can help you with the very deep in when you are giving birth.
The connection you make with yourself is also felt by your baby. Everything you feel, think and say is also felt by your baby. That is why Yoga and Meditation is so good for not only you, but also your child :) And if you are pregnant, and you feel good and well-centered with yourself, your child will also benefit directly from this.
We will do special and purposeful meditations that help you prepare to become a Mother. Meditations that can also help to reduce any fears / anxiety or worry about motherhood, and we do exercises that will make you feel good and strong, along with deep breaths that you can use for your birth and feel like you are powerful and this whole new adventure of being pregnant, giving birth and being able to be a mother!
In the classes we will also pay attention to the Ancient Wisdom and Yogic Insights of motherhood, which are good for you now, but also after your birth. The food you eat also influences your milk. You can see in the other tabs what else is on the menu :)
